Rai provides exclusive services for public radio and television services in Italy. The Rai Group is present on all platforms with a wide range of free content tailored to different genres and target audiences and is the leader in Europe with a group television share of 38.5%. 

Rai runs 5 redundant AVID Interplay PAM systems as part of the AVID Media Central environments at their TV stations Rai 1, Rai 2, Rai 3, Rai24, and Rai Parliamento. In addition, it has two AVID Interplay PAM systems for Rai Sports in Rome and Milan. Woody IN2IT exchange is used to ingest source feeds to all such systems. Woody IN2IT access serves for manual ingest. And Woody IN2IT access mobile is used for sending materials from smartphones to the production facility.
