Hessischer Rundfunk is the German state of Hessen‘s public broadcasting corporation. Headquartered in Frankfurt, it is a member of the national consortium of German public broadcasting corporations, ARD. There are additional radio and television studios in Kassel and Wiesbaden, as well as further radio studios in Darmstadt, Fulda and Gießen. HR also has 6 other offices in German cities. 

Hessischer Rundfunk uses the Woody IN2IT products standalone on different ingest terminals to receive content from their journalists and bring them into the internal post-production workflow with deep integration into the ingest portal. The metadata management of the ingested clips is essential, the ability to sub-clip, and above all, the optimisation of file handling through AVID Interplay’s interface.
