Deutsche welle

Deutsche Welle is a German public, state-owned international broadcaster funded by the German federal tax budget. Television broadcasts are produced almost entirely in Berlin. It is also a provider of live streaming world news which can be viewed via its website, YouTube, and various mobile devices and digital media players. 

At Deutsche Welle, x-dream-distribution provided a master ingest solution to handle social media ingest from different platforms. This project was carried out with system integrator Qvest Media and connected Deutsche Welle with internationally based journalists. 

With the Woody IN2IT products, the journalists downloaded content from social media and provided their own produced content. These products have been integrated with the AVID Interplay environment of DW as well as their Sony Hype installation.
