Packaging Offline Files
As an extension to the Cambria FTC the Packager open up the capabilities of file transcoding to the ABR world.
Cambria FTC Packager imports multiple offline file formats and repackages them into multiple adaptive streaming formats such as HLS, MPEG-Dash and MSS without re-encoding.
Cambria FTC can transcode from mezzanine file into multiple-bitrate MP4 or TS streams that make up the adaptive group. Those file are then packaged into ABR formats such as HLS, MPEG-Dash or MSS by Cambria FTC Packager which can process a large volume of packaging jobs simultaneously.
Cambria FTC Packager supports multi-DRM vie CPIX and it is compatible with all major DRM systems. It offers a seamless packaging and encrypting workflow. It also have full integration with Irdeto multi-DRM solution.
Cambria FTC Packager imports ESAM XMLwith ad-insertion splice points and inserts SCTE-35 markers in ABR output formats. It also inports embedded ad-insertion point information into TS and MP4 and converts them to SCTE-35 markers in ABR output formats.
You can achieve maximum efficiency by combining Cambria FTC and Cambria FTC Packager. FTC Packager reads directly from and writes out S3 using a different credential per input and output.
