Contacts Module
The Contacts module helps researchers, editors and journalists to store and find contacts that are used for information gathering. The Research module allows researchers, editors and journalists to store and find editorial information not yet related to a story.
Feeds module
The Feeds module helps editors and journalists to screen and research info/news feeds from external sources.
Upload module
The Upload module is the default tool to import media files (video, audio, pictures, etc.), ancillary data (subtitles, transcripts, etc.) or any other related files (script, dialogue script, calculations, etc.) into x-dream-Fabrik.
Post-production module
The Post-production module acts as a bridge between x-dream-Fabrik and a Production Asset Management (PAM) System.
Editorial Board
In the Editorial Board information received from various sources is aggregated, sorted, viewed, reviewed and finally evaluated.
Story Telling module
In the Story Telling module, a story is created and filled with information (text, picture, audio, video, voice over) structured for each publication channel.
Live Shows module
In the Live Shows module, the structured rundown for a complete show is composed from individual stories and standard elements like openers and closers.
Archive module
The Archive acts as the central media asset repository. It is the source for stories to be told and productions to be stored.

x-dream-Fabrik is available as perpetual, rental, SaaS or fully managed solution license. Independent from the choosen licensing it can be deployed on-premises datacentres, public datacentres, private clouds or public clouds.

SaaS Pricing
The SaaS pricing model of the NEWS Module is composed from the following elements:
One-time fees
- account creation fee = 100.00 €
setting up your account - configuration fee = 100.00 €
provisioning and configuring your processing pipeline according to your needs
monthly fees
- monthly platform availability fee = 1.500.00 €
keeping your environment available independently from any usage, incl. 1 system user - monthly system users fee = 50.00 €
additional named system users to operate the your business processes - monthly contributor users fee = 10.00 €
additional named contributor users to take part in your business processes from outside - monthly editor users fee = 65.00 €
additional named craft editing users - monthly pre-editor users fee = 65.00 €
additional named pre-editor users to prepare EDL for craft editors users - monthly communication system fee = 500.00 €

1) Monthly base fee includes 10 approval users.

1) In and out-bound data transfer will be measured and invoiced by end of each month.
2) In and out-bound data transfer will be measured. Agreed volume will be invoiced monthly in advance. Additional data transfer will be invoiced by end of each month. Price for additional data transfer is 0.05 €/GByte.
3) In and out-bound data transfer will be measured. When utilizing the agreed bitrate maximum the calculated fee will be invoiced monthly in advance. When utilizing a higher bitrage for more than 5% of the time the additional transfer bitrate will be invoiced by end of each month. Price for additional transfer bitrate is 50.00 €/100 Mbps.
4) Data storage volume will be measured and invoiced by end of each month.
5) Data storage volume will be measured. Agreed volume will be invoiced monthly in advance. Additional data storage volume will be invoiced by end of each month. Price for additional data storage volume is 0.25 €/GByte.
